Symposium on Advantages of NDE for Emerging Economies (SANDEEE).

The quality and safety of industrial goods, along with unified approaches to their assurance and verification, are crucial factors for expanding mutual economic cooperation among emerging economies, including the BRICS countries. Coordinating efforts in the field of intelligent non-destructive testing (NDT) and condition monitoring systems presents a strategic opportunity to enhance economic collaboration, reduce trade barriers, and establish forward-looking global standards.

Russia is currently implementing a national program to rank among the top 25 countries globally for industrial robotization density. Significant development and deployment of modern cyber-physical systems for smart manufacturing, including within the NDT and condition monitoring sector, are underway. Leveraging its existing scientific and technological capabilities, Russia is positioned to serve as a platform for discussing cutting-edge solutions and approaches in the advancement of smart manufacturing.

Taking the initial steps towards fostering international collaboration in this field, the Russian Society for Non-Destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics cordially invites industry professionals to participate in discussions focused on:

-       Harmonizing NDT&E standards and methodologies,

-       Jointly developing and facilitating cross-border transfer of new technical solutions,

-       Establishing a shared digital environment for analyzing and documenting quality control results.

The success of this initiative has the potential to transform the BRICS nations and their partners into a powerful zone characterized by high trust in the quality of goods and services. This will stimulate production and trade, while ensuring enhanced global competitiveness.

Symposium on Advantages of NDE for Emerging Economies will is scheduled for 13-15 May 2026 in Moscow, Russia.
